BUILD THE CAMERA WHILE SHOOTING THE FILM

The purpose of METIS GLOBAL VIRTUAL NETWORK is to join the efforts of both scientists, IT engineers and Digital Content makers (Film & Multimedia) to develop the Computer Supported Smart Collaborative Work platform, which is to be used for conception, production and post production online of the movie, and to create advertainment movies for Beijing Olympics 2008.

With a strong experience in CSCW platforms for higher education, this "Total Innovation Management" venture was initiated in December 1993 by SysCom Lab in France (Europe) under the coordination of Roderick R. KLEIN. After one year, METIS GLOBAL VIRTUAL NETWORK involves strong partners from both China, North America and Europe.

This original venture is meant to create new tools to facilitate interdisciplinary and cross-cultural approach of advertainment film production and IT Innovation Joint Ventures Management between China and the West in the Multimedia Content Industry and Higher Education.
